Leo is a 1-year-old dog who came to us from a shelter. Leo is going to require corrective surgery on his grade 4 luxating patella. Surgery is scheduled for 8/29/2024. Leo is an active and playful dog who loves to play fetch, snuggle, chase bunnies and squirrels, and go for walks. He’s also crate-trained and sleeps soundly in his crate through the night. A smart pup, Leo learns quickly and has a lot of love to give. However, Leo prefers to be the only dog in the household as he can get protective of his things and doesn’t like to share with other dogs. He’s great with people and older kids and doesn’t let his luxating patella slow him down at all. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for Leo to enjoy his outdoor adventures safely. If you’re looking for a loyal and energetic companion, Leo might be the perfect match for your family!
