UPDATE-ADOPTION PENDING! Whitney is a true cavalier that prefers to be by her human. A fenced yard will be a must for this sweet girl, as she loves to enjoy the sights and smells of being outside. We are recommending to keep her on a leash even when in a fenced yard. Because she is startled by loud noises, inside or out. Whitney will need time a patience to blossom. She will chase a ball but has not learned to pick it up and bring it back. Whitney would love to have a sibling to help show her the ropes. She enjoys car rides with a nap. Whitney will jump up on you to be picked up. She greets everyone with enthusiasm, whether you have skin, fur or feathers. This petite, gentle, affectionate girl would fit almost any family, she is adaptable and would be happy with cuddles from all. Small children and quick movements might make her uncomfortable at first. Whitney still does not drink water from a bowl, so her foster mom currently adds water to her food. We will recommend her potential adopting family continue this until she figures out how to drink from a bowl. Are you the right family for Whitney, can you give her all the cuddles she needs?
