UPDATE: ADOPTION PENDING! Update: Waylon's vet check came back awesome. It's time to find his forever home that will be able to stay on top of his resource guarding tendencies. We know the right family is out there!!!!! Hi my name is Waylon, I am in a foster home and I think I should rule the roost or be the leader of the pack. My foster mom has told me she is the leader! But I keep trying anyway. I don’t like other dogs coming close to me when I eat, sometimes I growl and lunge, so my foster mom puts me in my own pen to eat. People can stick their hand in my bowl but I am okay with that! I sometimes growl at my furry foster siblings, when they come by my bones, toys and human. But my foster home does not let me get away with that behavior. Mom makes this loud noise and then I look at her and I stop. She is usually mean and takes the toy or bone away. The other day she even took me off of her lap, because I grr’d at my foster brother. I have been told I need some training. I don’t understand personal space whether you have fur or skin. I am learning “off”, I am just a toddler and love to play and get love and pets. Mom sometimes says I am a good boy and I will make the right home a wonderful pet. Just not yet, everyday I show my foster mom a different side of me, so be patient as my mom and I figure this out.
