Twyla is a sweet, curious girl who is very eager to please. She is fully housebroken and sleeps quietly in her crate all night. For safety reasons she's crated when left unattended since we aren't sure exactly where her curiosity will lead her. She loves her foster Cavalier brother and prefers being a part of a pack. At naptime, she can be found on the couch, chair or sometimes a lap. She's definitely a cuddler! Twyla walks great on leash with her harness and enjoys meeting new dogs in the neighborhood. She does not bark or pull while walking, just some friendly sniffs. Twyla will thrive in a home with another more confident dog to show her the ropes. She also likes older children (5+ years) that understand she needs to be approached slowly at first. Young children scare her as they move too quickly. Some formal training would be a huge benefit for her as she is so eager to greet you that she tends to jump up to say hi. She's very smart and catches on quickly so no doubt she would be a quick learner!
Spayed and UTD on Vaccinations and current on heartworm and flea prevention. Twyla has Canine Kidney Disease and requires a kidney-friendly food for the rest of her life. There are many options available but she is doing very well on the Medicus Kidney Support Diet.
