Slater is an affectionate and playful dog who's ready to find his forever home. Since being in foster care, he has been accident-free, though he’s still learning how to signal when it's time to go outside. Slater enjoys regular walks and is fantastic on the leash, making him a joy to stroll with. One of his favorite pastimes is chasing after his ball, followed closely by snuggling on the couch. He’s making great progress with basic commands like "come" and "sit," and shows a lot of potential with continued training. Slater gets along well with other dogs and even cats, making him a great addition to multi-pet households. Though he's not quite comfortable with stairs yet, he has no problem jumping up on the couch for some cuddle time, and that’s something his foster family is working on. He also sleeps soundly in his crate and doesn't mind spending quiet time there. If you're looking for a loyal companion with lots of love to give, Slater could be the perfect fit!
