Lorelai is a real "love muffin". She loves to snuggle on your lap or get belly rubs. Lorelai listens to her foster dad and will come on demand. When she first arrived, Lorelai was skittish and afraid. She is coming out of her shell and is enjoying home life. She would do well in a home where her new parents worked from home or if Lorelai could go to doggy daycare. She plays well with other small dogs and is doing fine with our cat. She will walk on a leash, but enjoys roaming in the backyard sniffing all around. A fenced in yard would be a plus. She is potty trained and we get her outside three to four times a day. Inside, Lorelai can be found curled up in. her doggy bed sleeping or on the couch next to me with her head on my lap. Lorelai doesn't like fast movements, so small children would be a challenge for her. Lorelai will bark at the dogs across the street or a strangers down the block, but doesn't run at them. Lorelai gets along with everyone. At night she prefers to sleep in your bed or nearby in her doggy bed. If you are looking for a sweet and gentle girl, Lorelai will melt your heart.
