Meet Conrad! Conrad is a wonderful dog with many positive attributes. He sits quietly during car rides with his seat belt on and enjoys walks in the park, exploring new areas to sniff. Conrad has mastered commands such as sit, stay, and come. He sleeps peacefully all night in his gated area and follows his foster mom everywhere, always happy to accept ear and belly rubs. Conrad wants to initiate play with other dogs but is still learning to read their cues and sometimes doesn't realize his own strength. He is in training for appropriate behavior when meeting new people. Conrad is fearful of vacuums, leaf blowers, hair dryers, motorcycles, etc., but his reactions are improving over time. Thunder and firecrackers do not bother him. He is not quite ready for adoption yet.
