ADOPTION PENDING Luger is a hefty guy. He is new to his foster home and his foster mom already has a diet plan in store for this sweet boy. Let’s just say he definitely has some love handles to lose. He really likes being around the other dogs in the foster home and has fallen in love with the other resident foster girl, Rosie. Rosie has been a success story with her weight loss goals, so Luger has the perfect role model. Luger is doing well, so stay tuned for future updates. UPDATE 4/13/16: Luger continues on his weight loss journey. After 10 weeks, he is down 9lbs! He came to his foster home weighing 44lbs and is now down to 35lbs. He still needs to lose several more pounds, but he is definitely on the right track. He is a total love bug who enjoys to play. You will always find him with a toy in his mouth. He’s not picky with his toys…he loves them all. We’re rooting for you Luger. Great job! UPDATE 5/18/16 Luger is still looking for his forever home. After four and a half months, he's lost 12lbs!! His coat is growing in and he's looking very handsome. This goes along with his very sweet personality. He's such a happy, goofy guy. On a 3 hr road trip he was an excellent travel, had a great time. His foster mom says: "I have only great things to say about this guy!!"
