Laci is a sweet but frightened little girl. We are seeing small steps each day as she opens up to having humans as part of her life. Laci is very dog friendly and plays very nicely with her fosters sisters (one is a cavalier about her size and the other is a 50lb Aussie Mix). Running in the large yard is one of her favorite things to do. She is hesitant to have a leash put on but follows you nicely once it is on. She discovered the fun of having toys in her life the other day. We have full out sneak attack pounces going on. A patient home with quiet adults and a dog will most likely be her favorite place. She has started to warm up to us sniffing and taking treats from our hands. Laci is very calm in her crate and sleeps there through the night cuddled in blankets. Housebreaking has started to make a little progress as well. Please read "How to Adopt" at http://www.gccrescue.com/AdoptCavalier When new rescues arrive GCCR first looks to its waiting list of approved adopters to find the best home for each Cavalier.
