Lacey is a happy, sweet, well adjusted and playful dog. She follows her foster family everywhere and wants to be near her humans as much as possible. She loves companionship and affection. She would prefer not to be left alone too much. Lacey enjoys being outside and going for walks on her leash. She has abundant energy and loves to play fetch. She doesn't like being confined in the crate but has occasionally been found sleeping in her crate when the door is left open. She does snore when she is sound asleep, a cute reminder that she is very content. She also exhibits an episodic cavalier "snort" or "reverse sneeze" which has subsided quickly with calming. Teaching commands is a work in progress but she obeys "sit" before all meals and treats. It's not unusual to find a stray flip flop or slipper near her, and she has been known to chew on laces, but so far has demonstrated no problematic behaviors. Lacey is house trained but needs to be let out often and would not recommend leaving her unattended on carpeted floors. She gets along well with our other cavalier, as well as adults and children. She will make a wonderful addition to some lucky family that has lots to of love to give.
