Suzy is very sweet and loves her person. When she is not on a lap, she has her spot she just naps. She likes a quiet home and is easily startled by and sudden movement or noise. She is not a fan of thunder or fireworks! We are trying a thundershirt to see if that finds relief. She really only barks when she is surprised and has been with men walking into a room. She only has 14 teeth, but that doesn't stop her. She gobbles down her kibble and likes to eat in her crate. Her foster mom is still working on potty training.
The vet heard a heart murmur at a Grade IV on a scale of VI. Murmurs at this level are often found in older Cavaliers; Suzy shows no symptoms of failure and does not require medication. As for any Cavalier, at least yearly veterinary visits are required to note any change.
