ADOPTION PENDING Rosie is new to her foster home, so we are still learning a lot about her, but her foster mom says she is such a “sweetie!” Rosie did come from a commercial breeder, and she is a bit shy when she is approached. However, she is very friendly and will approach people on her own and climb into their laps for some snuggle time. She appears to be more confident when interacting on her terms. Rosie is “VERY” food motivated. So much so, she has a few pounds to lose, but for now, there is just a little bit more to love of her. Rosie is currently learning some obedience and tricks. She is doing really well, but we think the treats have something to do with it. Rosie is such a happy girl with a tail that never stops wagging. Rosie is wishing for her very own special person who will give her all the snuggles (and treats) she wants. Could it be you? UPDATE 01/06/16: Rosie has some good news to share! She continues to lose weight and is down to 17lbs from 23lbs. WOW! That is so awesome, Rosie!! Rosie also wanted everyone to know she also knows how to sit and lay down and she is working really hard at learning “come”. Rosie loves her obedience sessions because they involve her most favorite thing…treats! She really likes her cuddle time and loves following her foster mom everywhere. Rosie is a very happy, tail-wagging little girl. She has a tail that never stops!! Way to go Rosie! You will be in your forever home in no time. UPDATE 4/13/16: Since our last update, Rosie has had bilateral knee surgery and she is doing GREAT! She now is running up and down stairs and taking 20 minute walks at a normal pace without rest breaks. It is confirmed that she is a total “lovebug!!” Keep up the great work Rosie!
