ADOPTION PENDING Oh my! How can you resist this cutie? Aimee is very spunky for her age. She is always wagging her tail and will dance and “talk” when she wants your attention. She always wants to have her favorite person in her sight, so having someone home most of the time would make her very happy. She would also love to have a canine companion to spend her days with. Aimee is still learning to trust humans, so she still cowers a bit while being petted. She is nervous with strangers who come into the home and can growl and bark out of concern. As stated before, Aimee is quite spunky, you would never know she suffers from a barely audible heart murmur and knees that are mildly luxated. Both certainly do not interfere with her activity. Though Aimee is still a bit shy, she does enjoy lap time with her favorite person. Aimee is searching for that forever home that can give her love, kindness, time, and of course a comfy lap. UPDATE 02/12/15: Aimee has been in her foster home for several weeks now and her foster mom says Aimee is such a sweetheart, but her fear in humans is still a work in progress. Aimee has been getting more one-on-one attention to help build her confidence so she will be ready for her forever home in the coming weeks. Aimee is a special girl who will do best in a quiet home with a consistent schedule. For the most part, she is housebroken as long as she is on a set routine. She is still a bit too shy to give those obvious cues at times when she does need to go out and potty. Aimee needs a loving person or couple without small children who will dedicate their love, time, and patience to help her continue to blossom into the sweet Cavalier that she is.
