Hi, I’m Tommy—and I’m ready to steal your heart. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was a little nervous. I had just been neutered and had a few teeth pulled, so I needed a couple days to rest and adjust. Luckily, there was another friendly dog who helped me find my way—and a cozy bed I got to share with my foster parents (my favorite place to be!). The truth is, I’m happiest when I’m near my people. Whether I’m snoozing beside you, following you from room to room, or soaking up all the love you have to give, I just want to be close. I’ve got a calm, easygoing personality. I love to nap, chew on a good bone, and take short, relaxing walks. In the late afternoon, I get a little burst of energy—perfect for a game of fetch or a fun ride in the car then I’m back to snoozing again on your lap. I’m fully potty trained and even let you know when I need to go out. Plus, I’m super food-motivated—just a tiny bit of chicken and I’ll be your best friend for life. I’d do best in a quiet, low-key home with someone who’s around most of the time, or with another dog to keep me company. I’m not high-maintenance—I just want love, comfort, and someone to share the simple joys of life with.
