UPDATE: ADOPTION PENDING! Hi, I'm Britney! I live with my foster family, including my foster Blenheim brother! He's my favorite toy to play with, but I'm starting to see potential in the stuffies and chewy toys he has around the house. My foster Mom says I'm sweet, cuddly, and super easy to take care of. I potty outside and haven't had a single accident in the house! I was a little scared when I first came here, but in a day or so, I really started to explore the place and have fun. My foster brother showed me around and we do zoomies in the backyard together! I love to cuddle next to my foster Mom at night while she's knitting something (she said it was for me, but I can't figure out what it is). My foster brother on one side of her and me on the other. The other day, we went outside to play with the neighbor kids. They were all ages from 2-10 and it was really fun. I was shy at first, but before long, I was playing and chasing them around. My foster Mom is trying to teach me 'manners' like 'touch' and 'sit' and walking nice on a leash. Sometimes, I just can't figure out what she wants me to do and I just look at her for clues. She said I'm getting really good at listening and coming when she calls (if I'm not busy, that is). I'm pretty good at getting into small spaces and under fences. I think that's an asset, but my foster Mom said I'm a flight risk and I'll need a very secure fenced yard with no breaches! Hey, I just like exploring. She said her first job was to put a little weight on me because I was so skinny and I guess that worked because I'm almost 2lbs heavier now than when I came to my foster home. I guess it's all that chicken and brown rice I eat! I just started eating the same food my foster brother eats. It's a yummy cube that my foster Mom crumbles and hydrates with warm water. She mixes it with my chicken and brown rice and probiotic and I gobble it down twice a day. I'm waiting for my forever family and my foster Mom says they'll be the luckiest family in the world! I hope they have another dog to play with and even kids - I love kids! Also, I don't get upset if someone comes near me while I eat (unlike my foster brother who gets all snippy if I want to see what's in his bowl) and I'll share whatever I have with anyone! I sleep in my little den in my foster mom and dad's bedroom. At first I didn't like that, but now, it's cosy and I love it. I don't like to be left alone too much. I cry at first, but my foster brother tells me it's ok and we snuggle together and I feel much better. I get along with everyone and everyone loves me. I'm not bragging, just stating facts. Once you meet me, I think you'll agree!
