Update 3/12/19 Vinnie is now 3# but still has a long way to go. Vinnie is an 8 week old pup who suddenly stopped nursing and no longer sought out warming areas, including Mom. This is where GCCR came into play. Vinnie has spent many days at the vet, including many tests, much lab work, specialty consultations and even oxygen therapy. Because Vinnie is so small, he is unable to be sedated for CT for definative diagnosis. What is suspected is portosystemic shunt, seizures, pulmonary edema, grade 2 murmur, limited vision and possible pneumonia. Vinnie is on a strict diet to avoid rise in ammonia levels, 3 medications and lots of TLC. We will not have definative diagnoses for another 3-4 months. This am Vinnie weighed in at 1.6lbs per home scale. Please send healing thoughts for this precious soul. If you are so inclined, please donate to his care.

Special Needs

Vinnie has been a very sick pup and still is, affecting 3 major systems, renal, neurological and cardiac.
