Update 1/30/19 Baxter is doing well and is a "Long Term Foster" due to his health and care needs. UPDATE 6/22/2018 Baxter's tail still wags. He has had such a rough road, and still has a ways to travel. He is now seeing a chiropractor to get some relief for his general spine and arthritis issues. He is getting a new harness and tons of love from his foster family! We are doing everything in our power to help this sweet boy. UPDATE 5/9/2018 Baxter had all his sutures removed and is on the road to healing. The Dr's did say it would take 2-3 months for him to fully recover. Meanwhile Baxter is a true velcro cavalier that loves to follow his foster momma. And he has graduated to the human bed, he doesn't like being in his crate! Baxter is in a foster care, he will require time to heal from his surgeries. He is a sweet boy that has been neglected. Stay tuned for more information as we continue our journey with Baxter. More information will be available here when he is ready to go to her forever home. Please read "How to Adopt" at http://tinyurl.com/AdoptCavalier When new rescues arrive GCCR first looks to its waiting list of adopters to find the best home for each Cavalier.
