ADOPTION PENDING Troy is a friendly little guy. He can be a bit shy around new people and in new environments. He loves being around other dogs, so a canine companion would be ideal. Troy suffers from Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) which means he has the inability to produce sufficient pancreatic enzymes to digest fats, carbohydrates and proteins. This is managed by giving him an enzyme supplement before each meal. Troy is housebroken and crate trained. However due to his EPI, he may need frequent bathroom breaks. His foster mom says he is a bright fellow and has already learned the commands of “come” and “go into crate.” Troy is a true gem who just needs a little patience and time to blossom into the sweet Cavalier that he is.

Special Needs

Requires daily eye medication. Grade IV murmur, without symptoms of heart failure. Tested positive for EPI; requires enzyme supplement with each meal.
