Kim(mie) is very quiet, reserved little girl who enjoys just hanging out with the bunch but also is up for a nice stroll in the neighborhood. She does not demand much, except her meals and boy does she love her meals! Kimmie also loves to chew on antlers, hooves and all things natural, like a rabbit foot! Kimmie currently lives with other dogs and cats. She sleeps in bed at night and enjoys morning snuggle time and belly rubs. Kimmie is crate trained; housebroken, if kept on a schedule; walks well on a leash and is crated when no one is home, up to 4hrs. Kimmie was starting to show signs of Syringomyelia (SM), ie scratching without making contact and crying out for what appeared to be no reason. We started her on the traditional cocktail of meds, acupuncture and chiropractic care. Recently we started her on a supplement and have seen a big change, no more crying out! We are at a point now that we can decrease some of the traditional meds. We are continuing with acupuncture and chiropractic care. Kimmie much more active, tail wagging and even trying to approach for chin scratches!

Special Needs

Requires medication for SM like symptoms.
