ADOPTION PENDING This black and tan handsome fella is Buddy. His foster mom says he is a “kind soul”. He is very sweet, although still a bit shy. He is still learning to enjoy human interaction. Buddy has been a wonderful house guest at his foster home. He is not destructive, he is house trained, and is crate trained. Buddy really enjoys the quiet, easy going lifestyle. Buddy is still learning to walk on a leash. Once he learns this whole leash thing, he will enjoy going on daily adventures. In the meantime, having a fenced in yard would be ideal so he can romp and play in a secured space. Buddy is a wonderful Cavalier. He has come around in a short amount of time. His foster mom says Buddy is a beautiful boy, inside and out! The ideal home would have another confident canine companion and a patient and loving owner to help Buddy grow into the sweet Cavalier that he is. The vet heard a heart murmur at a Grade IV on a scale of VI. Murmurs at this level are often found in older Cavaliers; Buddy shows no symptoms of failure and does not require medication. As for any Cavalier, at least yearly veterinary visits are required to note any change.
