Laverne is a HUGE love bug! She is shy, but can easily be won over with treats. She loves her people and just lights up when she sees them. She is easy going and a devoted little girl. She can be a bit nervous with strangers, so slow approaches and a handful of treats will help when introducing her to new people and experiences. Laverne is housebroken and will signal when she needs to go out to potty. She does not like her person to be gone for too long. Laverne does not care for being in a crate, so a home where someone is home most of the time would be ideal. Laverne likes her beauty sleep, so a home with little change or noise would be best. She enjoys short walks, and having a fenced in yard where she can roam at her leisure would make her happy. Laverne loves her people so much, that home with a canine sibling would not be necessary, however she does get along with the resident dog and cat in the home. Laverne has so much love to give, and would love to have a special person who will take care of her, be there for her, and embrace all of her love.
