Lance is a smart, sweet boy who is making good progress learning to live with a family. Lance gets along well with his two foster canine siblings. Still a bit timid, he continues to meet people and feel comfortable around noise. Even though he is missing his front left paw, Lance does not let that slow him down! Walking on leash a little over a mile a day is his latest accomplishment. House training continues to be a work in progress but continues to improve. He loves being outside and is no longer afraid to go through the open door. The time he spends in his "safe zone" crate has decreased and he now loves laying on various rugs or pillows around the house. Lance loves treats and listens well, so training will be successful. Not quite a cuddler yet, Lance is learning to relax during "nightly Mandatory cuddle time" with foster mom. At this time, a quiet home with canine siblings, and a patient family willing to work with him will allow Lance to continue to blossom.
