Walk-A-Thon and Pet Expo benifiting the West Suburban Humane Society
GCCR will be one of the rescue groups attending the 19th Annual BARKAPALOOZA Walk-a-Thon and Pet Expo presented by the West Suburban Humane Society.
DATE: Sunday, September 30, 2012
TIME: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm rain or shine
You can sign up for the Walk-A-Thon ahead of time, registration will be at 9:00 am. Details on the West Suburban Humane Society's website (listed below).
10:00 am Blessing for the animals will be given.
Other activies include: Micro-chipping for a small fee, as well as, free "Vet Advice"; Breed specifc Rescue Groups; crafts, vendors, and special items for Children; Kids and Kindness Zone, Clowns, Face Painting and Balloon Sculptures; food vendors, raffles, prizes and more.
Bring your dog but no other pets please, have some fun, meet some new friends and enjoy the park. No admission and free parking.
